When I was 15, I didn't know how to properly process stress so I internalized it instead. I apparently did this too much or too often or was just too stressed about stupid things in life because I ended up damaging the nerve in my stomach. Apparently, I cannot bake a mint chocolate pie.

But trying was a blast. Saturday... between time with Erin, seeing Rachel, and then Ed's birthday... well, Saturday was perfect.

My entire body jumps a little when I hiccough.

And whenever I get the hiccoughs, they last forever. (Like now. Erg.)

And yawning in the middle of a hiccough? Most embarrassing sound ever.

As a child, I believed an evil hippopotamus lived under my bed. So my big cousin gave me a stuffed, rainbow corduroy hippo that he'd had as a child.
